A ​​cartoning machine​​, also known as an ​​automatic case packer​​ or ​​box forming/filling/sealing machine​​, is an industrial packaging system designed to ​​automatically form cardboard boxes, insert products, and seal them​​ for retail or shipping. It is widely used in ​​food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and consumer goods​​ industries to improve efficiency and reduce manual labor.

How It Works​​

​​Blank Feeding​​ – Flat cardboard carton blanks are loaded into the machine.

​​Box Forming​​ – The machine unfolds and shapes the blank into an open box (rectangular, sleeve-type, or tray-style).

​​Product Loading​​ – Products (e.g., bottles, blister packs, pouches) are inserted ​​manually or via robotic arms/infeed conveyors​​.

​​Closing & Sealing​​ – The machine folds and seals the box flaps using ​​glue, tuck-in locks, or heat sealing​​.

​​Output​​ – Finished cartons are discharged for labeling, bundling, or palletizing.
